Clinton JonesPrincipal - Property Lawyer

Clinton Jones is a highly qualified and skilled property lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry.

Clinton Jones is the founder and principal of Priority Legal. Established in 2010, Priority Legal was formed to provide specialised Canberra conveyancing services to clients located in Canberra and the surrounding NSW regions. Clinton wanted to develop a boutique business focused on delivering Canberra conveyancing services to the highest standard.

With a focus on excellence, professionalism and reliability, Clinton has developed a reputation for offering clients outstanding service and expert advice they can trust. His commitment to excellence ensures Clinton always prioritises the relationships he builds with clients, stakeholders and his team. Clinton believes these relationships are underpinned by providing timely communication and clear legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.

Since beginning his legal career in regional NSW in 2000, Clinton has gained extensive experience across a wide range of property and commercial law fields, including NSW and Canberra conveyancing, wills and probate, sale and purchase of business, commercial leasing and large-scale commercial developments. Clinton brings this vast array of legal experience to each conveyancing transaction and delivers expert advice to his clients in an understandable and practical way.

Throughout his career, Clinton has completed thousands of conveyancing transactions in both Canberra and NSW. These transactions extend across a wide range of property types including residential, rural, off-the-plan and large-scale developments. His in-depth knowledge and experience in every facet of the conveyancing spectrum allows him to guide his client’s through their transaction in a smooth and hassle-free way.

Clinton’s attention to detail and ‘do it right the first time’ attitude runs through the team, ensuring that clients always receive high quality advice and outcomes.  This is obviously very important when dealing with, what is for most, their largest single asset.

‘I genuinely enjoy providing something different compared to the high-volume conveyancing firms that operate both locally and online. Whilst they have a place, I truly believe our clients receive a much more personal and tailored service, and for the same or similar cost.’

Clinton holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Legal Studies) and a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2006.

In his private life, Clinton is dedicated to his young family and enjoys restoring antique tools and machinery.
